Carmen Farmer

Conservation Project Manager

Carmen comes to COL after spending four years working as the Community Projects Manager at Eastern Shore Land Conservancy in Maryland. Prior to that, Carmen worked as a land use attorney in a small firm representing private property owners on various transactional projects. After attending the University of Maryland School of Law, Carmen clerked for the Honorable Jillyn Schulze in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. A graduate of Virginia Tech with a BA in Urban Affairs and Planning, Carmen has always had an interest in communities and their connection to the land. Carmen is excited to be working in Colorado’s Northern Front Range and along the South Platte River Basin.
