Liz joined Colorado Open Lands in April 2015. She’s an operations professional with over 15 years of experience most recently serving as Operations Manager at the National Wildlife Federation and prior to that was the Finance Manager for The Nature Conservancy’s Colorado Chapter. Before moving to sunny Colorado, she worked for over 10 years for the alternative newsweekly Washington City Paper in Washington, D.C. Liz received her Bachelor of Arts from Johns Hopkins University and completed graduate coursework at the University of Maryland. She also received an associate of arts in professional cooking from the Baltimore International Culinary College and ran an organic catering company in the 1990s. She is an avid runner, potter and sewist.
