Jaclyn joins Colorado Open Lands’ stewardship team after completing her master’s degree at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. She has experience in agroecology, soil health, and carbon sequestration on working lands and is committed to environmental justice and sustainable food systems. Before attending Yale, Jaclyn worked at the White House Council on Environmental Quality and earned her BA in Geography and International Relations at the University of Texas in Austin. Born and raised in Texas, Jaclyn loves sunshine, heat, and big open spaces. In her free time, Jaclyn enjoys pampering her houseplants, printmaking, and camping.
