Carmen Farmer
Northern Colorado Senior Conservation Project Manager
Carmen Farmer is the Project Manager for the Northern Front Range and Lower South Platte Basin. Carmen has over 15 years of experience working in the land conservation field. Prior to joining COL, she worked as a land use attorney in a rural community in Maryland representing farmers and producers. Carmen is an appointee to the Colorado Conservation Easement Oversight Commission, serves on the board of the Coalition for the Poudre River Watershed, and is an appointee to the Larimer County Agricultural Advisory Board. Carmen attended the University of Maryland School of Law and clerked for the Honorable Jillyn Schulze in the United States District Court. A graduate of Virginia Tech with a B.A. in Urban Affairs and Planning, Carmen has always had an interest in the intersection between communities and the land that supports them.
