Chelsea Collins
Director of Stewardship
Chelsea joined Colorado Open Lands’ Stewardship team after working with the Boulder County Parks & Open Space’s Conservation Easement Program in 2021. Prior to her time there, she finished her graduate degree in Environmental Sciences at Oregon State, where she studied natural resource management and the conservation of threatened ecosystems on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula. Her B.A. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado and her previous experience working on water systems and monitoring wildlife populations brought her to pursue the conservation career that she is now so passionate about. She loves getting out into Colorado’s beautiful backcountry with her husband, Chris, and their pup, Riley, whether it’s by raft, ski, bike or on foot.
