Leslie Volkar
Director of Communications
Leslie is a communications and marketing professional with nearly twenty years of experience. Prior to joining the Colorado Conservation Trust in 2008 (which later merged into Colorado Open Lands), she was employed with a Denver-based urban design firm. She attended Pennsylvania State University, earning a B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations and a M.A. in Media Studies with a research focus in the theory, practice, and ethics of nontraditional marketing strategies. Leslie enjoys all facets of writing, design, and photography, and indulges in many creative pursuits that let her explore those interests.
